Here’s your chance to be a part of the action behind the scenes! 

 

We want the recital to be a fabulous experience for everyone involved- the performers, the audience and the parents! We need everyone's help to make the show a success and keep everything running smoothly both on and off stage. There is a lot of activity backstage and we strive to create as efficient and orderly of an environment as possible! Thanks to the help of all the amazing volunteers we’ve had and their creative organizational ideas, our volunteer system backstage continues to improve each year and has been a huge success! We are excited to create another fantastic backstage experience and to provide a stress free atmosphere for parents to enjoy the recital. But, we can’t do it without YOU! 

 

It would be FABULOUS if we could have 2 Class Moms for each class! (5th grade and under- not including Pre-Company or Company- as well as a few moms to monitor/ assist with older classes and a mom (or dad!) or two for the Boys dressing room!)

 

• Volunteers will be responsible for helping students in any way possible to make sure they are where they are supposed to be, dressed correctly, under constant supervision, etc..., during the recital while the other parents remain in the audience to enjoy the show!

• We will have a meeting prior to the dress rehearsal to go over any questions and to distribute all the information you need to know about each of the students that will be in your care.

• We receive a lot of feedback with great suggestions from volunteers each year and will be sharing their helpful ideas with you. You will have everything you need to feel confident about exactly how the recital will run and what will be expected of you.

• This can truly be a fun experience for you and your child and you will not be alone back there!!! Center Stage Staff will be ready to help with anything you need and the class moms/ dads really pull together and work as a team. There is nothing quite like the feeling of accomplishment you will have after successfully helping your class pull off an amazing performance!

 

Please Note: Volunteers do NOT need a ticket for the show they are volunteering during and WILL be able to watch their child's performance!
