Dress Rehearsal Date & Times: 

​

  • The Dress Rehearsals for both showtimes will be Friday, December 19th at HENDRICKS HALL ON THE UCM CAMPUS! Check out the chart above for your exact times!

    • ​Some students who are in multiple classes might have an overlap with a costume meeting and an on-stage rehearsal. The on-stage rehearsal takes priority- your teacher will make sure you have the costume info you need!

  • Be sure to arrive IN COSTUME (dancers carry your dance shoes- don't wear them outside), take a seat in the audience in Hendricks Hall, and be ready to go at your appointed time to help keep the schedule for everyone from running behind!

  • Parents can wait in the audience during the costume meeting and rehearsal. 

  • Students should leave when their rehearsal is finished. We will not rehearse the finale!

Costume Information:

 

All DANCERS should wear the following:*

  • Holly Jolly Jubilee t-shirt (provided by Center Stage)- Stop by the front desk to pick it up!

  • Black, ankle length, fitted leggings (male dancers can wear black joggers)

  • Black no-show or ankle socks (that show your ankle) or no socks

  • Tap or jazz shoes- depending on your routine. Hip hop dancers can wear their own tennis shoes- just choose your most neutral-colored ones!

  • Hair should be pulled back out of your face!

  • Makeup: Enhanced everyday makeup

*Jazz Tech 5 dancers will receive specific costume information.

 

All THEATRE students should wear the following: 

  • Holly Jolly Jubilee t-shirt (provided by Center Stage)- Stop by the front desk to pick it up!

  • Black bottoms they can move in comfortably.

  • Closed-toed shoes that they can move in comfortably.

  • Hair should be pulled back out of your face!

  • Makeup: Enhanced everyday makeup

 Performance Dates & Times: 
 

  • Saturday, December 20 at 11am & 2pm

  • The show run time will be just over 1 hour. There will not be an intermission.

  • The house will open 30 minutes prior to showtime for guests to be seated.

  • Tickets will remain on sale online until the start of the show and will also be available to purchase at the door before the show!

  • We will not be taking an official video of the Holly Jolly Jubilee to send out. Families are welcome to take video and pictures without flash!

  • Flowers will NOT be for sale in advance or in the lobby for this event.

  • All performers will remain backstage with CS Staff the entire performance & will be in the finale.

  • Please reference the chart below for the specific showtime your dancer will be in (by class).

 Performance Day Student Check-In & Check-Out! 

​

STUDENT DROP OFF!  

To make checking students in more convenient and faster for parents & more secure overall, we have a drive through drop off/ check-in for all students!

  • To help with traffic flow, please drive through the UCM Visitor parking lot off of South Street & Maguire at the times below to drop off your child. CSA Staff will direct you! 

    • SHOW 1: Drop off between 10:15 and 10:30am- younger students (ages 3-5) closer to 10:30!

    • SHOW 2: Drop off between 1:15 & 1:30pm- younger students (ages 3-5) closer to 1:30!

  •  If you would like to accompany your child to their dressing room to drop them off, you can do so. Plan to park and walk your child in at the time below.

  • ALL STUDENTS MUST CHECK IN SO WE KNOW YOU HAVE ARRIVED!

    • Students in 5th grade & younger must be checked in and out by a parent/guardian. Parents will give CS Staff a secret word at drop off and will then need to use that work to pick your child up!

    • Students in 6th grade & up can check themselves in and out. 

 

REMINDER! FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL STUDENTS, ONLY CS STAFF WILL BE BACKSTAGE. PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO REMAIN BACKSTAGE. 

 

STUDENT PICK UP FOR 5TH GRADE & YOUNGER!  

  • The check out location is in the lower lobby in Hendricks Hall! 

  • Please send one parent down the main steps of Hendricks Hall (by the front door) and wait in the large, open area of the lobby (BEFORE going through the long tunnel to the dressing rooms).

  • Students will return to their dressing room after the Finale, return any accessories & gather their belongings, and will then be escorted to the check out area when the class is ready. 

  • Parents can only sign their child out after their child is with them- so no reason for parents to race to the check out area! 

  • Reminder- only students 5th grade & younger need a parent to sign them out. Students in 6th and up can sign themselves out and go meet their parents in the lobby or other chosen location- not backstage!

It's time to get your jingle on!​


We are excited to announce the return of our HOLLY JOLLY JUBILEE- a holiday performance opportunity to showcase our dancers & theatre students! 

​

Here are the details!

​

 Who can perform in the Holly Jolly Jubilee? 

​

  • Students in Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop classes: Precombo 1 through Adult Tap 3! (With the exception of Kindergarten Combo who will have just performed in the Nutcracker.)

  • Students in Theatre 1-4 classes!

  • NOT IN A TAP, JAZZ, HIP HOP OR THEATRE CLASS? IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO SIGN UP AND JOIN IN THE FUN!

  • All students will be learning a fun, holiday routine during class over the next couple of months. The students who have signed up to do so, will then perform at the Holly Jolly Jubilee! (This is an optional opportunity and not required.)

  • Pre-Company dancers!  Pre-Company 1, 2 & 3 dancers will learn their routine in extra weekend rehearsals closer to the performance. Exact times TBA!

  • Star Performance Team dancers will perform in the show!

  • Theatre students! Theatre 1 & 2 and Theatre 3 & 4 will be combining. You will have 2 extra times outside of class to rehearse & clean the musical theatre performance together as a group!

    • Save these extra rehearsal dates and mark your calendars now!

    • Theatre 1 & 2: Friday, Nov. 21, 5-6:30pm AND Friday, Dec. 12, 5-6:30pm @ CSA

    • Theatre 3 & 4: Friday, Nov. 21, 6:30-8pm AND Friday, Dec. 12, 6:30-8pm @ CSA

 

When & Where is the Holly Jolly Jubilee?  

​

  • Performances will be December 20th at 11am & 2pm at Hendricks Hall on the UCM campus. 

  • Each Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Precombo , Jr. Combo & Theatre class will perform in ONE of the two performances- not both. See the chart below for which class will perform in which show time.

  • There will be a rehearsal Friday, December 19th. Details TBA.

 

How does my student choose to participate? 

​

  • First, make sure your student is in a Theatre, Jazz, Tap or Hip Hop class (this includes Precombo I & II and Jr. Combo 1-3, as well as all classes with Jazz, Tap or Hip Hop in the title). If someone wants to be involved and isn't taking one of these classes at the moment, they can still sign up to take a class!

  • Next, fill out the Production Agreement Form to let us know if your student DOES OR DOES NOT wish to participate.

  • We need to have all replies back by Friday, October 3rd! But don't wait! The sooner you can fill out the form the better so we can work on finalizing the performance details!

 

What is the cost to participate? 

​

  • To help cover the cost of producing the show, each student will be required to pay a $25 non-refundable production fee. This fee is used directly to offset the cost of theatre rental, costume accessories, extra rehearsal time and technical elements of the production.

  • The $25 also covers the cost of a Holly Jolly Jubilee t-shirt the performers will wear in the show and get to keep!  

  • All payments must be paid in full by October 3rd. Payments may be charged to your card on file at Center Stage. 

  • Possible cost of costumes pieces not supplied such as, socks, tights, shoes, leggings, etc.
