The Nutcracker Performance is just a couple of weeks away! We are beyond thrilled to be able to continue this magical tradition with our community this season and want everyone to have an amazing & safe experience!
Both new & veteran performers should read through all of these important details as we have modified our process this year to help maintain physical distancing and keep safety protocols in place. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions!

MAKE-UP UPDATE! Dancers will be wearing their own masks backstage and will have a custom mask labeled with their name to perform in as well! Because of this- do NOT wear lipstick or foundation/powder, etc... in the "mask area" of the face as it will rub off on the mask.

We are excited to announce auditions for our 9th annual production of The Nutcracker ballet this holiday season!

Auditions will be held at Center Stage on Saturday, August 21, 2021.
-
CSA Dancers in Pre-Pointe (6th grade & up) and Pointe 1-4 are eligible to audition for Principal Roles in the Nutcracker.

CSA Ballet students 6th grade & older and boys 3rd-9th grade may audition for character feature roles such as Mother Ginger (for girls) and Fritz (for boys), and others. *

We will continue to follow the audition procedure from last season to allow for smaller groups of dancers at a time.

Please fill out the Nutcracker Audition Form via the link above to signify that you intend to audition. You will then be notified of an audition time approximately one week prior to August 21st.

Auditions will begin at 10 am and run most of the day. If a dancer does not fill out the form, they will not be given an audition time.

All audition forms are due no later than August 12th!

*Please note: As with all auditions, there will be some dancers who are not cast in principal roles in the production as there are only a limited number of roles to be cast. It is important to understand this before auditioning and for parents to help prepare their children for this possibility.
